Ben Franklin's Glass Harmonica
By Will Herzog

Paul Harvey's "The rest of the story" today had the story that Ben
Franklin's European invention of the Armonium was popular as angel
voices, but the performing artists behaved eccentrically, and died.
A Gerhard Fickenbiner tried to repopularize the modern instrument,
_after_ showing it was the lead in the 1800's glass that killed
(literally) the fad.
