Transporting Band Organs Across Borders

Has anyone taken a band organ through Canadian-American customs?  What
was your experience?  It will cut off about 90 miles if I travel from
upstate NY through Canada to Flint Michigan for the band organ rally.
I don't want to get caught up in customs, however.
