J. Lawrence Cook & Tempo Music Publishing Company
By Mike Meddings

Hello all, One of the finest fact-based articles about Roy Carew
came from the pen of author George W. Kay. Under the title of 'Basin
Street Stroller', Kay writes of Roy Carew's early days in New Orleans
and of his meeting with Tony Jackson.

Included in the article are details of the formation of the Tempo
Music Publishing Company and the acknowledged transcribing talent of
J. Lawrence Cook. This is on the Morton Page -- just scroll down to
the new revolving icon.

Happy New Year.

Musically yours

Mike Meddings
