Western Electric Style X Nickelodeon
By Jerry F. Bacon

Hello Gang, About 2-1/4 years ago I bought a Western Electric style X
(actually a Selectra model B) with the Selectra removed so it goes to
a X. It has a small rectangular window that perfectly balances with
the one on the right. I have put over 14,600 nickels in it since that
time and love it very much. It came from the great folks at Orange
Coast Piano Co. and they are to be commended for helping me to get it.

I have loved automatic music as long as I can remember. In about 1958
I bought (new) a hi-fi record called "Honky-Tonk Piano", I have played
it many times but it's not worn out yet and although mine is not a
Nelson Wiggens it still comes close to that sound. I just wanted to
thank Kim Bunker for helping me to realize a life's dream after all
that is part of what life is about.

Musically Yours, Jerry Bacon
