Player Piano Music in "Touch of Evil"
By A. B. Bonds

One of the most evocative appearances of a player in a film is in the
bordello run by Marlene Dietrich in "Touch of Evil". The tune is
totally honky-tonk and very suggestive of a place where lurid things
take place. It also showed up again briefly in the film "Get Shorty".
Anyone have any hints as to what it is?
