Single Tier Unitype Action

I am trying to rebuild a Bush and Lane player with a single tier
Unitype action (Very rare). I would like to talk to anyone who has
rebuilt one and perhaps made notes on materials, specifications,
procedures (disassembly-reassembly and adjustments, tools).
I certainly appreciate the sharing that goes on in this fine group.
