FilMusic Picturoll Piano Rolls
By Hal Davis

Some years ago I talked with Edgar Bergen and we talked about the old
days when he was the 'musician' in a theater in Buchanan, MI. At one
point we discussed the FilMusic Picturolls that I had and the labels
being upside down from what would be expected.

I remember that he commented that, at the theater where he 'played'
the player piano, it was helpful to have the labels upside-down because
they usually had the boxes open and handy to get the rolls and that then
the labels would appear right side up.

Not scientific knowledge but his comment seemed to make sense to me.

By the way, the "Pas de Deux" is probably my favorite FilMusic Picturoll
that I have.
