H. C. Bay Spoolbox Spring
By Nevin Engle

I just did a dumb thing working on the tracker mechanism of an H.C. Bay
piano. I took the mechanism apart on the outside of the spoolbox and
of course I knew where the little spring goes. Now I can't decide
where it goes. Can someone help me out?

There is a stud that sticks out without threads and above that is a
threaded stud that the rocker slides over. Does the open end of the
spring face up or down and which stud does the other end slide over?
Does the little hook on the spring go over the right or left side of
the bar?
