Wood Worm In a Player Piano
By Mark Williamson

I had my recently acquired 88-note pumper tuned yesterday. My
tuner was impressed with the quality of the instrument considering
the bargain price I paid, but he discovered evidence of wood worm!
This is not a mistake I will repeat!

I searched the MMD archives and the only reference I could find was
in 1999.06.16.15 Were Craig Smith suggests placing a music box in a
microwave oven to kill wood worm. Unfortunately the piano won't fit.
;)

As a full time student I don't think that I can afford to have it
professionally treated. Does anyone have any suggestions?
