Music Boxes by Thomas Edison
By Jim Heyworth

Hello Barbara, No, I haven't heard of an Edison musical box.

It will be very helpful if you can supply me with more information
such as whether it plays a cylinder, metal disc or other medium, how
many teeth in the comb, general size of the box, cylinder or disc,
etc., and, if possible, a photograph and a note as to the source of
your information regarding the number of instruments produced?

Do you think it might be an Edison stencil on another make of musical
box?

Of course, there's always the possibility that everybody but me has
heard of these. It won't be the first time.

Best regards,

Jim Heyworth,
Sechelt, B.C., Canada
