Does anyone have any advice for rebuilding the early Amphion player
with the cardboard divider between the pouch and valve units?  I have
not been able to find any information in the Archives.  I have read the
rebuilding directions in the old Player Piano Co. catalog and the book
by Arthur Reblitz.

I tried to separate the two units of one deck, but ruined the original
cardboard.  I tried new cardboard with the grommets from Player Piano
Co., but couldn't get the new holes centered in the valve wells after
tracing the holes from the valve unit.  I will need to tear this off
and try again because the valves wouldn't work with the seat off
center.

Any advice would be appreciated on how to center the new grommets
perfectly, and how to separate the remaining cardboard on the other
two decks with minimal damage.  Do these new grommets work?
