AMMI Street Organ Composition Contest
By Leonardo Perretti

The Associazione Italiana di Musica Meccanica (AMMI), founded
in Cesena, Italy, in November 1998, announces a contest for the
composition of a piece for monkey organ.

The purpose of the contest is to stimulate the rediscovery and
knowledge of mechanical music, especially in Italy and in the
traditional musical contexts, such as music schools.

Robbie Rhodes and the Foxtail group kindly give hospitality at
the Foxtail web site with providing hosting for some web pages
about AMMI and the contest; for more information please visit
http://mmd.foxtail.com/AMMI/

We would be pleased if MMD members would participate and/or
inform those who could be interested.

Best regards from Italy
Leonardo Perretti
