Repairing Universal Player Piano Pouches
By John A. Tuttle

Hi All, In reference to Brian Thornton's posting about repairing
Universal pouches, there's a much easier way! Instead of repairing
them, replace them! I have a source that makes new rings. A complete
set sells for $115.00.

The pouch material is crystal clear polyethylene, which is impervious
to moisture. Also, replacing the old rings with new rings eliminates
the need to seal the ring after it is put back. This is because the
ring is a force-fit into the stack.

Before the new pouch material was used in production, it was tested
thoroughly in a wide range of temperatures and environments. As a
final test, the pouches were put through over two million repetitions.
There hasn't been a single failure.

Musically,

John A. Tuttle
