Seek Helper Blower for Band Organ
By Jim Westcott

Two of the band organs I bought from Louie Suierveld had helper blowers
affixed to the outside. He used them instead of the more costly bellows
restoration and/or repairing cracked woodwork. These blowers consisted
of an approximately 10" x 10" pressed wood box with a fairly quiet
centrifugal blower and a voltage regulator. Louie once told me where
he got them but that information has been forgotten. On my Dutch
Street Organ the bellows and the helper blower put out 11" of Water.

Does anyone know if these blowers are still commercially available ?
