Carousel at Paris Disneyland
By Bruce Pier

The carousel at Disneyland Paris is not a Philadelphia Toboggan Co.
(PTC) but rather a new copy built for Disney using the PTC at the
Magic Kingdom in Florida as a guide. The figures are fiberglass,
with the exception of the outside row, which were hand carved by
noted Ohio carver Joe Leonard.

The same plans were used to build the ride at Tokyo Disneyland.
If memory serves me, that machine turns clockwise, like an English
galloper, rather than counterclockwise.
