B.A.B. Music Rolls for Band Organs
By Jeff Alterman

I think that it would perhaps an excellent move if someone such as
Ed Openshaw could embark on a project to make recuts of as many of
the B.A.B. paper music rolls as possible.

I'm aware that there are a number of roll scales. I know that the
B.A.B. roll scales start at 46 keys. Then they go to 48 key, 52 key,
57 key, 61 key, 66 key, 82 key and 87 key. There could be other scales
that I'm not aware of.

If any of you have the information of a known scale that I don't have
listed, please let me know. In the meantime, I'm aware of one organ
on the East Coast that still plays 66-key B.A.B. music. It is on the
B&B carousel.
