Claes O. Friberg & Mekanisk Musik Museum
By Christofer Noering

Hello! Michael Woolf wrote about Claes Friberg and his business
associates, "many fine instruments crossed the Atlantic -- some
several times -- during the heyday of mechanical music collecting."

Some of them crossed the Sound as well (remember, this was before
the Copenhagen-Malmoe bridge was opened early this century). In 1974
or 1975, the Seeburg H orchestrion and the white Duo-Art reproducing
piano made a one-night trip to Malmoe as it was to be featured in the
talk show, "Kvallsoppet."

Best regards from Stockholm
Christofer Noering
