Expression Piano Bass/Treble Split Point
By Robbie Rhodes

John Phillips described the playing notes of his 65-note Aeolian
push-up player in 031019 MMDigest. For completeness now we need the
bass/treble split point of the hammer lift rail or action stack in
the expression pianos by various makers. I recall that Pianocorder
could adjust to three different points.

In this table the note name of the last (highest pitched) note in the
bass section is preceded by the MIDI note number (where Middle C is
MIDI note 60):

64E Ampico A & B
63Eb Pianola 88-note
? Pianola 65-note
? Duo-Art
? Welte-Mignon
? Recordo
