Turners Musical Merry-Go-Round
By Philip Carter

-- non-subscriber, please reply to sender and MMD --

We were all very sorry to hear that Turners will be closing. We have
been regular visitors for many years and a wonderful time is had by
all. Many of our members wondered what will become of the majestic
Wurlitzer when the venue closes. We read that the building will be
pulled-down to make way for housing but there was no mention of the
fate of the organ, would you please let us know what is going to
happen to it. Would you please thank Nigel and his wife, Nicholas,
Ian and all of the staff at Turners for many years of providing
professional entertainment to thousands, even millions of people from
all over the country.

Many thanks.
