Church Organ Pipes of Metal
By Jeff Bridges

Mr. Bullock, when I got these pipes I was told that they were made of
pewter. Now, I don't disagree with you on your posting, and when you
said that they have spots on them I now realize that some of these
pipes do have spots on them. When I was moving a couple of pipes from
the person's home where I bought them, with just two fingers one of
the pipes would "melt" in my fingers or bend. When I noticed that
I quickly handled the rest of them gingerly so as to not bend them.

I was also told by the person that owned them that if you end up putting
a dent in a pipe you can take it out with a broom handle inserted into
the pipe and using a rubber mallet you can bang out the dent.

I am in not way trying to fool anyone as to the kind of pipes I have,
I am just not educated enough to distinguish what kind of pipes and
what they are made of. All I know is that I was told that they were
not made of lead because of the sound quality. I really need to get
rid of the bass pipes; they are enormous and I really don't have the
room. I will sell those for 50 bucks apiece if anyone wants them.

Musically, Jeff Bridges
