FS: Piano Rolls in Manhattan
By Vincent Morgan

The Lincoln Piano Co. in Manhattan, N.Y. City, has gone out of
business. They have approximately 1,000 piano rolls for sale as one
lot. This also includes two small roll cabinets and approximately
3 yards of bellows cloth.

The rolls include approximately 60 Sherman, Clark & Co. custom-made
player rolls. These were custom-made to accompany a cello and most
labels are hand-written. I saw one that is typed. Most rolls have
either never been played or were played once.

These are all one-of-a-kind rolls with no copies or masters anywhere.
There used to be sheet music with them, which is now long gone. There
are 75+ 88-note rolls without boxes, 22 Deluxe rolls, approx. 300-400
Ampico rolls and the rest are 88-note rolls.

There is also a partially restored Ricca and Son upright player (ser.
no. 71667) piano available separately. Photos and more information are
available from me, Vincent Morgan, at <vincent.morgan2@verizon.net>.
To make an offer call Carol Ryland at (212) 227-8550. I will be out
of the country from Jan. 15 to Feb. 2nd, so I suggest that if you want
to contact me, do it ASAP.
