Seek Ampico Spinet
By Tom Hutchinson

MMD Readers, I'm looking for a restored, playing Ampico spinet.
I'm in no hurry. I am aware that there is an unrestored one on eBay
now. Can anyone give me a rough range of prices these instruments
go for? Am I correct in my belief that regardless of the name on the
fallboard these pianos were all the same? Were these essentially
Ampico B's internally? I have an unrestored 5'4" Chickering Ampico
B that I would consider involving in a trade for a restored Ampico
spinet. If no spinets show up I will be putting the Chickering on
eBay in a few weeks.

Thanks
Tom Hutchinson
