FS: Art-Echo Apollo Reproducing Roll Collection
By Mark Reinhart

For Sale: Comprehensive Art Echo/Apollo reproducing roll collection.
334 Art Echo/Apollo reproducing rolls. This collection has classical
titles from both Welte-Mignon masters as well as those recorded at QRS.

All the important artists from the Art Echo catalog are represented.
Titles such as the Nutcracker Suite set, Dance Macabre, Hungarian
Rhapsody No. 2, and the Chopin Polonaise # 53 are all found here. The
popular rolls range from the earliest rolls which include great dance
rolls played by Pete Wendling and Zez Confrey through the last issued
rolls of 1930-31. There are dance medley rolls which are extremely
hard to find. Included are 3 trial copies of Apollo rolls from the
Clark Orchestra roll company. These are extremely rare as Clark never
went into production for Art Echo type rolls.

If you have ever considered an Art Echo piano you know the problem is
finding a quality roll collection of any size. There simply aren't
enough pianos to justify recutting the Art Echo type rolls. Here is
a rare chance to buy the collection that makes the pianos play as they
were intended. All 334 rolls for $3,100.00. Offers considered.
Located about an hour west from Baltimore and Washington, DC.
