Seek Photos of Steinway XR Duo-Art
By Lee Munsick

I am getting ready to put up for sale my Steinway 6'1" Style XR Duo-Art
piano and matching bench. This is a 1918 model, in plain walnut case.
The instrument is in storage in New Jersey, the bench with us here in
Virginia. Any photographs I have are packed away from our recent move.

Would anyone be able to send me photos of a similar piano in the same
plain case, or possibly either Steinway or Aeolian Duo-Art advertising
illustrations of this model? Photographs should scan and transmit
well in email, but I suspect the illustrations would require good
Xerographic or laser copies. I will be happy to reimburse for the
photos, copies, and postage.

For anyone in the market for this piano, please do let me know, but
I will respond once I have the photos in order to share complete
information with interested parties. Once sold, I will begin selling
my collection of several thousand rolls, encompassing Duo-Arts, some
Ampicos, 65- and 88-note, and miscellaneous piano and organ rolls
including Tester & Tuning rolls. But for now, I need help with the
photographs!

Many thanks for your help, and a fond hello to my many friends in the
field!
