Seek Singing Bird Cage Repair
By Preston Kendall

-- non-subscriber, please reply to sender and MMD --

I am looking for some help in repairing a singing bird cage music
box that my husband received from his great-grandmother when he was
a child. It has one singing red bird who no longer hits half of his
notes and his beak has stopped moving. He is able to move back and
forth and he sits on a branch. The cage is marked "made in France"
and has "132" on the rim.

Is this valuable? Can it be repaired? It has sentimental value to
my husband, who to this day can whistle the exact tune of the bird
from his childhood memories at his great grandma's house. I would
like to get it repaired (and cleaned?) if possible as a gift to him.
Can anyone help me?
