Seek Windway Sealant for Pouch Chambers
By Pat DeWitt

Hi All, I recently read that "Phenoseal" (liquid) is/was an ideal
medium to seal wooden pouch channels, wells, etc. I looked it up on
the Internet and found that Phenoseal is now sold by DAP (like in the
home improvement store) and upon inquiring, I was told that only the
caulk is now available.

So does someone have another source for the liquid? What else is
the best thing to reseal wooden channels in a reproducing piano? I am
doing both an Ampico and a Duo-Art and I want to use the best available.
Has anyone tried thinned PVC-E? What about polyurethane varnish?

Thanks for your advice.
