10-key Serinette with Spring Motor
By Craig Smith

Hello from (finally) snowy Upstate New York! A friend of mine has
recently acquired a 10-key serinette which has a flat spring-motor
drive instead of the normal crank handle and worm gear drive. It
even has a fusee to compensate for the variation in drive force as
the spring unwinds. I've never seem one before except for a picture
in the Don Bedos book.

Has anyone else ever seen or had experience with one of these machines?
Please contact me so we can compare notes as we are in the process of
restoration.

Thanks,
Craig Smith
