S.K. Goodman Joins Valley Forge Music Roll Co.
By Frank Himpsl

It is my great pleasure to announce that Stephen Kent Goodman has
recently agreed to partner with Valley Forge Music Roll Company for
the purpose of offering his outstanding original compositions and
world-class arrangements to the international family of automatic
musical instrument and roll collectors.

Stephen Kent Goodman is in my opinion one of the greatest arrangers
of concert and brass band music of all time, if not _the_ greatest!
Stephen's work has received world-wide recognition, and has repeatedly
been honored by ASCAP with their annual Popular Music Composition
Awards. His musical experience ranges from Hollywood film scoring
to arranging for symphony orchestra. His arrangements and original
compositions have been issued by the most prestigious music publishing
firms. A great deal of his material has been recorded and is currently
available on a variety of CDs.

To round out this rather incredible list of credentials, Stephen has
for many years been one of the top piano, nickelodeon and orchestrion
restorers in this country. Coupling his intimate knowledge of complex
player mechanisms with such arranging and composing talents, I believe
he is an absolute "natural" to create the finest music ever conceived
for automatic musical instruments.

Needless to say we are both very excited as well as overwhelmed by the
endless possibilities afforded by the multitude of automatic instrument
formats which exist. In music, as with all the arts, one is only
limited by one's own imagination.

For the near term, we have decided to focus upon selected band organ
and popular nickelodeon formats. For example, owners of 46-key
Artizan band organs will have the first opportunity in history to hear
genuine period ragtime and circus music arrangements on their machines.
We plan to release similar music for Wurlitzer machines such as Style
150 band organ, 65-note APP, Pianino and even Mandolin PianOrchestra.
This music will also be available to O-roll collectors (where a very
rich instrumental repertoire is anticipated), as well as to fans of A-,
G- and a wide variety of musical formats including 88-note.

Please earmark our web site http://www.valleyforgemusicroll.com/ for
future announcements regarding the availability of Stephen's work.
We plan to commence with our first releases within the next few weeks.
As always, please feel free to contact us regarding any aspect of this
project or any other questions or ideas you would care to share with us.
