Interchangeable Cylinders for Junod Helvetia
By George Paul

-- non-subscriber, please reply to sender and MMD --

Hello -- I recently stumbled across two orphan cylinders for an
interchangeable music box. They are nickel-plated, 6 tunes each, with
a playing surface of about 9-1/4". One cylinder is numbered 383 and
the other is 406. They appear to be in excellent condition; pins solid
with no rust.

A friend has suggested that these may be for the Junod Helvetia
cylinder box, as seen on page 242 of "The Music Box Makers" by Piguet.
I can forward photos if someone is interested. Can anyone use these?
