Music Roll Spool Core Discoveries
By Paul W. Harris

I have often thought that the removable left-hand flange on most piano
rolls would make the hollow core an excellent place to stash emergency
cash or valuable diamond stick pins.

I have not checked every old roll in my collection, but have checked
quite a few and never have found anything of value. Has anyone ever
found anything in a piano roll core?
