Wurlitzer 105 Band Organ Sold on eBay
By Spencer Chase

Hello, I don't think there is anything unethical about snipe
bidding. It is really just an opportunity to submit "sealed" bids.
I used to personally snipe by having multiple browser windows open
ready to place different bids and updating the current bid with
another window.

Needless to say, it was very confusing to maintain and I usually got
very frenzied at the last minute. Now, I just place a snipe bid and
walk away. I carefully consider what I want to pay and add another
20% or so. If I get the item, I get it, if I don't, well...? No
palpitations, no last minutes decisions that I might regret.

I have won and lost and have felt good about pretty much all of it.
It is fun to check the current bidding and guess what people will
bid based on their bidding history. People can't do that with my
bids because they show up too late. I have never "stolen" anything
that I won by snipe bidding. I got it because I was willing to pay
more than the next person. Isn't that what an auction is all about?

Best regards,
Spencer Chase
