Reed Pipe Tuning Wires Won't Move
By Jonathan Holmes

Hi, just wondered if anyone out there has any clever ideas on how
to free up tuning wires on the reed pipes of a Wilhelm Bruder Modell
77 organ. The wires do not seem to be rusted, but are stuck solid!
I have tried heating them slightly to make the metal expand, hoping
when it cools it will be a little freer, but no luck so far. Luckily
there are only 17 Trumpets.

The Trombone pipes are quite different and have a much thicker tuning
wire, more like a rod. I think they will be easier.

Any help would be appreciated as I don't really want to replace them if
I can help it, as other than being stuck they are in great condition
and not rusty at all.

Thanks,
Jonathan Holmes
