Source for Good Wool Felt
By Jurgen Goering

Although there are felted woven cloths such as bushing cloth, regular
felt is not woven. I think I understand what Larry Mayo means though:
a lot of felt has a low density and a fuzzy surface.

I import quality felt for piano work directly from two factories in
Germany, a felt which is a cut above other felts I have seen offered
domestically. There are various densities, thicknesses and -- with
limitations -- colors available.

My website (http://www.pianofortesupply.com) shows only part of the
selection that is available. For specific requests, please contact me
directly.
