What's Your Favorite Brand of Band Organ Tuner?
By Matthew Caulfield

I'd be interested to know what brand and model of electronic tuner any
of you who tune a band organ find is the best for the job.

I've read about guitar tuners that have a clip-on device that can take
a reading directly from the vibration of the wood body of the guitar.
Something like that would seem useful for isolating the frequency of a
single pipe, when two or more speak at the same time. Using an audi-
tory system requires damping one or more pipes to isolate the one you
want to get a reading on.

But maybe that kind of system wouldn't work with something as non-
resonant as an organ pipe?
