Steck Pianola With Reproducing Action
By John Farmer

The following upright Steck Pianola is currently on E-bay:-

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=150164875075

If you look closely at the name photo, it also says "Reproducing
Action". I have e-mailed the seller and he says it does have extra
holes on the tracker bar. Could this, therefore, be an early
Duo-Art, perhaps before Aeolian used that name for reproducers?
I have suggested to the seller that he puts pictures of the insides
on too, which might reveal more. Any ideas?

[ Maybe the Duo-Art action was a factory retrofit installed in
[ an unsold Pianola. -- Robbie
