Montana Heritage Commission Ridicules Collection
By Jeff Alterman

I listened to these instruments in the YouTube clips at

They sounded wretched. They were out of tune and from what I could
tell one of the organs was skipping notes. If the instruments were
tuned and maintained properly, they could great to listen to.

The Commission does not realize that those instruments are a potential
treasure and they should treat them as such. They should spend the
money to repair all of those instruments so that they could be enjoyed
once again.

Two of the organs were playing B.A.B. arrangements, which are sometimes
considered to be superior to the Wurlitzer arrangements, and some of
the B.A.B. arrangements come pretty close to the quality of European
book arrangements. I couldn't enjoy those organs in the video since
they were so badly out of tune. Simply tuning the instruments would
be an improvement and then they can be enjoyed.
