Organ Rally in St. Paul, Minn., 7 June 2008
By Bill Nunn

Hello, The Snowbelt Chapter of MBSI is having an organ rally, on
June 7th, in Como Park in St. Paul, Minnesota. One of the nice things
about Como Park is that it is usually full of people walking, biking
and visiting the zoo and carousel so we play to a good crowd.

A variety of organs will be there including a Ruth/Artisan, a Stinson
165, a Stinson Caliola, a Mortier, two Wurlitzer 105s, a 107 Bruder
and several crank organs. After the rally everyone is invited to
Cafesjian's Carousel, a 1914 PTC. Director Peter Boehm will give a
talk on the history of the carousel and Mike Merrick will give a talk
on the Wurlitzer 153 that he restored and now plays for the carousel.
Then everyone gets to ride this historic carousel. The carousel really
shows itself off at night!

Anyone is welcome to come. Contact Mike Merrick, tel. 1-651-483-0806
or Bill Nunn, tel. 1-612-408-2848.

Sunny here in Minnesota!
Bill Nunn
