Moving a Wide Piano Through a Narrow Door
By Randolph Herr

To John Farmer: You can almost certainly get your piano into your home.
You must disassemble the piano to the point where the key bed can be
unscrewed from the sides. It is not that complicated, but if you are
worried about putting it back together, then consult with an expert.

I believe that any Aeolian piano can be unscrewed this way, although
once I had a Franklin Ampico upright of thin, junky wood that was glued
together at the factory and was not intended to be taken apart.
