Seek Street Organ in Stockholm for "Cabaret"
By Christofer Noering

The Stockholm Stadsteater (Municipal Theatre) is currently setting up
the musical "Cabaret," and the well-known song "Willkommen, bienvenue,
welcome!" is to be played on a real street organ. The musical director
contacted me to make a musical arrangement for their 20-note organ,
which scale proved to be sadly limited for this particular song.

What we ought to have is a 31-note organ, but as far as we know there
is not a single 31-noter around in Stockholm and environs. Maybe you
who read this might know where we could find one?

Stockholm, Sweden

 [ According to http://www.playbill.com/news/article/116041.html the
[ Stockholm production will be of the stage musical of 1966, not the
[ film version. Before the show begins the street organ could play
[ a potpourri of songs in front of the theater, such as "Willkommen",
[ "Maybe This Time", "So What", "Don't Tell Mama", "I Don't Care Much"
[ and "Cabaret", the title song. -- Robbie
