Feeder Hole Diameter in Pressure Roller Organs
By Todd Augsburger

Friends, I've been doing some research on the inlet holes on the
feeder bellows on the early pressure Roller Organs. It seems that
they used different diameter holes on the two feeders on most models
(since the feeders are different sizes), but the holes differ on
different instruments. The large bellows usually has six 5/8" holes,
while the small bellows may have six 1/2", 9/16", or 5/8" holes.

Would you assist my research by measuring any pressure Roller Organs
you might have? I'd like to know:

- Number and diameter of holes on the large feeder bellows;

- Number and diameter of holes on the small feeder bellows;

- The manufacturing date, either from the bottom or on the inner reed
block, if there is one;

- A description of the model: open pedestal legs, enclosed box-cased,
or like the black Gem.

Thanks for any information, and may you all have a Blessed Christmas
season!
