Steinway Welte vs. Steinway Duo-Art
By Anna Zareba

Hello, maybe some of you might know if there is or should be any
value difference between Steinway Welte reproducing grand piano and
a Steinway Duo-Art reproducing grand piano? Presuming they are both
in an excellent restored condition, do you think they might cost
nearly the same or not?

I am asking this because a friend of mine was thinking of buying
one of them, namely a Steinway Welte, but he was very surprised with
a high price it had (40,000 euros), especially if compared with the
prices of some Steinway Duo-Art grand pianos he could find in the
Internet auctions and other web sites. Maybe some of you might
help me? Thank you a lot!

Best wishes,
Anna Zareba
