QRS Resumes Piano Roll Production
By John A. Tuttle

Hi All, Just a not-so-short note to let you know that QRS has all the
machinery to punch piano rolls set up again in Seneca, Pennsylvania.
They just finished cutting a run of ABBA hits. When I inquired, they
said they had so many requests for the roll that they felt they had to
cut it again.

So, I read that as not only a sign that they are capable of cutting
the rolls again, but also as a sign of how to get them to cut more
rolls. In one word, it's "demand". If they have enough calls (or
orders -- I'm not sure at this point which it is) for a particular
roll, they will cut it. So, don't be afraid to order your favorite
title. The one you order might just be the one that gets that roll
recut.

By the way, I'll be trying to spread this word as fast as possible,
and to as many people as possible. So, if anyone would like to help by
sending a similar message to all of the people on your personal mailing
list, that would be great!

Oh, one more thing -- one of my customers is the Bishop of Fort Worth,
Texas. For those who don't know, his diocese includes 400,000 Catholics
and covers over 23,000 square miles of territory in Texas. I mention
this only because he asked me for the mailing address of the owner of
QRS. He is writing a letter to Mr. Dolan to let him know how important
he feels the QRS roll company is to millions of Americans. So, in a
way, I guess you could say we now have God on our side... :-D

Musically,
John A Tuttle
