Scanning Music Rolls With a Flat Bed Scanner
By Mark Kraabel

I have a Brother MFC-6490CW all-in-one printer/scanner/FAX machine.
It has an auto-feed and can scan 11" wide paper.

Question: Would it be possible to scan piano rolls with this scanner?
I tried running one through last night, and it gave a paper jam signal
after about two feet of roll. I imagine a new driver would have to be
written that would remove the length limit on scanned documents.

The unit is relatively inexpensive -- under $200.
