Auto-Deluxe Expression Action in a Drawer
By David Schroth Jr.

Hello All, I just acquired a player drawer system, and the
only distinguishing marks it has is in the roll box which says
"Auto-Deluxe Expression Action". The brass frame around the roll
box also has a symbol which says "Deluxe".

I acquired this unit hoping it would give me some lights on how
to re-assemble my Simplex-Recordo unit. Unfortunately, the two are
obviously different; in fact, the Deluxe unit is quite disassembled
itself. The stack is in one unit, and seems to be complete. The
vacuum motor is complete. The rest of the drawer looks relatively
complete. The whole unit needs restoration.

What I want to know are

1. Does anybody have any information on this unit?

2. As a hobbyist, is it worth trying to restore a system for which
I have no piano?

3. Since I have no use for the unit, would anybody else be interested?

I appreciate any insights I can get on the subject. I would hate to
throw away a nearly-complete unit.

Regards,
David Schroth, Jr.
