Passing of Jerry Doring
By Frank and Shirley Nix

Jerry Doring passed away at the age of 91. This is a blow to the world
of mechanical music. His collection was fantastic, and he and Virginia
were models of hospitality. We shall miss him terribly.

For those in Southern California, the funeral is Saturday, October
10, at Forest Lawn in Covina. It will be at the Church of our Heritage
up the hill at 11:20 A.M. There will be a reception afterwards at the
Doring home. Viewing will be Friday from 5-9 P.M. in the main building.

We have lost a good friend, and our condolences go to Virginia and the
Doring family.

Shirley Nix
Woodland Hills, Calif.
