Announcement: End-of-Year Fundraising Drive In Progress

Our End-Of-Year Fundraising drive is in progress. If you haven't contributed to the operation of the MMD in the last 12 months, this would be a great time to contribute. There's a PayPal link at the bottom of each page on the website.

If you aren't sure when you last contributed, please send me a note using the contact form at the bottom of this page and I'll look you up in my records.

Thank you for your generous support!
Jody

P.S. While your support is needed and appreciated, you do not need to contribute to be a subscriber. If you have subscribed and aren't receiving your Digest, please use the contact form at the bottom of the page and let me know. Thanks!

FS: New Wurlitzer 165 Band Organ Rolls
By Matthew Caulfield

As some of you know, I have been selling a series of newly arranged
style 165 band organ rolls. They are numbered as rolls 6836 to 6842.
You can see the contents of each roll and also hear a few tunes from
each roll at this page of my web site:

  http://wurlitzer-rolls.com/index6.html#6836

I had one run (16 copies) made of each roll and have sold them all
off immediately to a list of subscribers. But I also had a second run
made of roll 6838, and still have about 11 copies left. I haven't
advertised them anywhere until now. But those 11 copies are available
now while they last for $95 each, a price which includes shipping and
a really sturdy new Wurlitzer-style roll box.

If there proves to be enough demand for 6838, I would consider issuing
a second run of some of the other rolls in the series. They contain
really striking arrangements by Rich Olsen, with a mix of tunes that
guarantees something for everyone, old or young. The listeners at
Seabreeze Park love them!
