Philipps Paganini Orchestrion at Utrecht Museum
By Dave Bowers

Nice to learn the Paganini orchestrion at Nationaal Museum van Speelklok
tot Pierement has been restored. I first "met" this instrument in the
early 1960s when Eugene DeRoy, who donated it to the museum, took me to
see it. This and other instruments were stored in an old church.

I might suggest that a recording be made with the case closed, so that
the expression cut into the roll can be appreciated. Paganini rolls can
be wonderful in this regard. Also, it would be interesting for this and
other YouTube posts to give the tune titles.

A great instrument!
