Roll-playing Theater Organs
By Johnny Claes

In Belgium, the dance organ manufacturers also produced self-playing
theater organs. In a catalogue of 1925, the factory of Joseph Bursens
of Hoboken (near Antwerp) presents a theater organ that could be hand-
and book-played. The size of the cabinet can be compared with their
normal orchestrion production.

Best regards,
Johnny Claes
