Making an Organ Crankshaft
By Matthew Caulfield

In 100106 MMDigest Jeff Bridges asked about making a crankshaft for
a Wurlitzer 105 band organ. The latest issue of the COAA's "Carousel
Organ" (issue #42, January 2010) carries an article by David Wasson
on making an organ crankshaft. Dave is a true craftsman, capable of
work I never could do, and his pointers on machining technique were
very informative. Organ rally attendees will recognize Dave as owner
and builder of the concert fairground organ, "Trudy."
