Ballerina Figure for Musical Box
By Don Caine

Dear Luiz, As a Reuge authorized parts and repair service here in the
USA, I believe I may be able to assist you. But I'll need a bit more
information to be sure we get you an appropriate size dancing doll,
dancing couple or ballerina.

Perhaps you could email me a photo of the music box, as the dancing
dolls for Reuge music boxes were made in different sizes and different
period costumes relative to the design of the box and the size of the
compartment or enclosure in which they were to reside. For a common
example check out eBay item 250586754591 at

  http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=250586754591

I don't currently have in stock any Reuge small "ballerinas" per se;
I can get them as needed but it often takes a few weeks ($50.00 US
plus shipping cost).

I do have stock of the same size modestly priced "Dancing Couple" at
$75.00 US plus shipping, for the small dome size shown in the eBay
video.

I also have some of the larger, more ornate Louis XIV period costumed
dancing couples at $350.00 each -- usually seen in the Reuge "Mirror
Magique" -- and I have a female single dancer, in antique 1850s period
ball room attire with a hoop skirt and real dried flower bouquet,
at $250.00.

The more expensive dolls were made in France and/or Switzerland for
Reuge and they have hand-made costumes using antique materials and
lace. The faces of the ornate dolls are hand painted on small white
beans.

Please let me know how I may be of further assistance to you.

Most sincerely,
